Nanda Devi || Sandeep Madadi

My favorite mountain range is the Himalayas, which is obvious because I belong to it. Those green and snowy mountains have had a permanent presence in my life since childhood, a tempting horizon I could always look up to and vanish to whenever I had the chance. I miss those days, and getting crisp Himalayan air, even second-hand, through literature is like connecting with the mountains.

Shake the Bottle and Other Stories || Ashapurna Debi || Arunava Sinha

Each story has shaken up the bottle of our thoughts. I love how Arunava Sinha keeps the authentic essence of the stories by keeping the Bengali culture and vocabulary as it is. Undoubtedly, this short stories book is must read for everyone, as it’s one of the fine works that will bewitch you by its charm.

“Bad Girl Gone Bad” by “Alisha Kay,” is a contemporary romance with elements of drama and comedy. This book is the first installment of the series following the story of “Aisha Rajput,” labeled as a “bad girl.” On the surface, Alisha is a rebel, a strong businesswoman who hosted big-budget parties. Once a person looks deep inside that bad girl image and loves the real Aisha. However, Aisha’s fear, scars, and insecurities of that boy make her break his heart. As we know, fate always rolls the dice in the love story and brings both Aisha and the boy “Kabir” face to face again. And from there starts the funny banters, and leads to a whirlpool of drama.
