Life and Political Reality: Two Novellas | Shahidul Zahir

The first novella starts with the snapping of a young man, Abdul Mojid's sandals on a summer day, which takes him into the brutal and haunting memory lane of his past during the liberation war, full of heart-wrenching and horrendous atrocities people faced during that time. Abdul was haunted by his painful childhood, in which he witnessed the bloody mascaras, rape, religious propaganda, and the root cause of all these events, the dirty politics of the Razakars. He was scared of living a life in his country as he lost all his faith in its leaders and political ideologies.
